arc 001 : kayden was born in 1980, first child of victor and abigail everett. the everett family have been long-devoted members of an christian doomsday cult in the town of ellicott city, maryland. portraying themselves the classic 'nuclear family' dynamic. kayden's mother was noted as being terrified of her own child, killing herself in december of 1988 in a mental asylum.arc 002 : kayden was enviably confined within his father's cult until he was 14 years old. he'd escape alongside his childhood friend, damien morales. committing petty crimes to survive, before forcefully taken into a foster family, then another. then another. outburst after outburst. he was desperate to know his mother's whereabouts. kayden was appointed a psychologist, that was in the process of testing a new experimental drug that essentially would numb kayden to most sensations. his life of crime would carry on throughout his life, but maintains a semi-regular teenage youth, typical of the early 2000's.arc 003 : unbeknownst to himself, however, kayden is an seraphim disguised as a human, with cannibalistic urges that become stronger the less in-touch he is with his humanity. kayden tries to live a "normal" life, while trying to find out what truly happened to his mother.

arc 001 : damien was born in 1982, only child to javier and audrey morales. their family moved to the states, due to their affiliation with a cult. damien's mother was emotionally absent, turning a blind eye to the abuse damien suffered from the hands of her husband to save herself the "trouble". damien was known to be rebellious, and reckless too. they're an outlier among the people around him, often an seen as an outcast. as far as anyone knew, damien kept his optimism about the world, although this was farther from the truth. he was angry, a feeling which still persists to this day.arc 002 : despite it all, damien manages to become close friends with kayden, becoming inseparable. after conspiring and years of planning with kayden, it was decided that the two would run away together. briefly resorted to petty crimes for survival. however, damien would find a home, living with a retired police officer, and had to be separated from kayden throughout middle school. however, the pair would reunite in high school, building a steady criminal record in the process.arc 003 : damien proposes the idea of becoming bounty hunters in order to make a profit and to survive, to which kayden goes for, unaware of the consequences. more often than not, damien is travelling with kayden, still determined on fulfilling his childhood promise of finding kayden's mother, while still trying to enjoy life.
